What we process, and why
Forms (contact, viewings, letting and the rent calculator). We process your name, email, phone and the information you provide, such as an address, housing needs and property details. We use it to respond to your enquiry. The enquiry is sent through Microsoft 365 to Nordic Housing’s mailbox and may be processed further by our email assistant and case system, Monday.com. The calculator also processes your entered property details and calculated range and may email you the result. This does not subscribe you to marketing.
Reliable enquiry delivery. A copy of your enquiry is saved in private Azure storage until the mail service accepts delivery. If delivery fails, it is retained for retry or manual review. Once accepted, the content is removed; a technical receipt without contact details is kept for 30 days to prevent duplicates. Deleted previous versions may be recoverable for up to 30 days.
The chat assistant. Your messages and relevant property and website content are sent to Anthropic (Claude) to generate replies. A local copy of the conversation is kept in the tab’s session storage (sessionStorage). When you agree to be contacted, your supplied contact details, housing needs and a summary are sent through Microsoft 365 to our mailbox for further handling by the email assistant and Monday.com. Clearing the local conversation does not delete information already sent to us or processed by Anthropic.
My list and shared lists. Your selected homes are stored as IDs in your own browser (localStorage). If you share the list, its link contains only property IDs and language, not your contact details. Anyone with the link can see the homes that are still public. When you send an enquiry, the selected IDs are sent to us with your contact details.
Technical logs and aggregate measurement. The site runs on Microsoft Azure. For troubleshooting, we record timestamps, events, technical errors and a correlation ID. We also count page views and actions such as filtering, saving homes, sharing, starting a form and clicking a telephone or email link. Measurement contains only the action type, page type, language and audience. We do not send search text, addresses, property IDs, full URLs, contact details or messages to measurement and create no visitor or user profiles. We respect your browser’s Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Operational alerts are handled in GitHub without enquiry contents.
Fonts. Fonts are served from our own website. Your browser does not contact Google to download them.
Maps and images. When a map loads, your browser requests map tiles from OpenStreetMap. Property images are loaded from Microsoft Azure. Your IP address is therefore visible to the services delivering this content.
Google Analytics and cookies
If you choose “Allow statistics”, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure visitors, visits, traffic sources and use of page categories. The Google tag loads only after consent. Cookies named _ga and _ga_* recognise a browser and group its visits. We limit these cookies to 180 days. Your choice, including rejection, is saved in browser localStorage as nh_analytics_consent_v1 for 180 days.
Google receives browser identifiers, technical device/browser information, timestamps and general page categories and actions. We remove query parameters, property addresses, unknown page paths, form contents and chat messages. Referring websites are sent as domains only. Google can see your IP address when connecting. Statistics help us improve the site, not advertise; Google Signals and personalised advertising are disabled. The separate aggregate Azure measurement above still uses no cookies or browser identifiers.
You can reject without losing functionality and change or withdraw consent through “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page. Withdrawal deletes Analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop the loaded tag. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable Google Analytics. Withdrawal does not automatically delete previously collected data; contact us about deletion.
The provider is Google Ireland Limited. Data may be processed outside the EU/EEA. See how Google processes information from websites and Google’s data processing terms. User and event data retention is set to two months without resetting on new visits; aggregate reports may be retained longer. We use no marketing pixels.
Retention
Enquiries and associated contact details are kept in email and Monday.com for five years. Contact info@nordichousing.dk to request access or earlier deletion. We assess deletion in light of the purpose of the information and any obligations to retain it. The five-year period is our enquiry retention policy, not a claim that the law requires all information to be kept for five years.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. Write to info@nordichousing.dk. You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby.
Clear your local data
You can clear your selected homes using the clear button on My list. The chat conversation is kept only in the tab you have open and is discarded when you close it. You can also clear site data for nordichousing.dk in your browser settings. This does not delete enquiries already sent to us; contact info@nordichousing.dk about that information.
